Man, that is looking good so far. (And at first I was a bit creeped out because the picture that I fav'd is now growing under my eyes....) In my opinion, you should keep the red to a minimum -- it looks really cool as it is now, in small bits, which add texture to the picture. IMO, if you use the red too much it'll lose its effect a bit. But that's just me. As for stuff that'd look cool...well, that's up to you.

nice movement in there..
what would look cool in the background? maybe some kind of design emulating reflections in a broken mirror, or fighter planes. something...
